Names for WWII Remembrance Day service
Thank you to a Curious Fox member who has helped in identifying the four WWII servicemen who were previously only known by their surnames and initials on the memorial in Lower Bemerton near Salisbury. The men are HENRY GEORGE BLAKE, BASIL EWART HOPKINS, HERBERT JOHNSON and GERALD VALENTINE MILES. These names can now be read out in full at the Remembrance Day Service in Bemerton for the first time. If you are related to any of these men it would be good to hear from you.

red mail William, Mary Ann, and Ida May HOLTON
William and Mary Ann Holton and their daughter Ida May (born 1904) were living at 3 St Martin's Terrace, Salisbury, during the 1930s. I am hoping to make contact with any of their descendants or anyone who has knowledge of them. There were also three other daughters in this family - Edith Emily (born 1893), Alice (born 1895) and Fanny May (born 1900). Is anyone able to help me?

red mail Edith Gertrude HARDING
I have been unable to find my grandmother Edith Gertrude Harding in the 1901 census. She was 16 years old and born in Farley, Wiltshire. Her parents, brothers and sister were all living together at 11 St Martin's Church Street, Salisbury, but she was not with them. I have searched exhaustively to try to cover enumerater or transcription error, but still cannot find her. There is a strong possibility that she was in domestic service somewhere. If you happen to find her when working with original census pages, I would be overjoyed to hear from you.

Makrell in Salisbury c1830
In the Salisbury museum there is a picture of a notice which I think relates to the Reforms of 1830s. One of the names displayed is "Makrell" and I would like to know more about this Makrell as I believe that he might be a distant relation of the Makrells who lived in Sixpenny Handley Dorset in C18. If anyone can give any information about Makrells in Salisbury or any where between Salisbury and Sixpenny Handley, I would be very grateful
