red mail looking for william robinson (printer) abt 1865
I am researching my family and am looking for info on a William Robinson. Sadly the only info I have is that he had a son John Robert Robinson who was married in 1890 in Grimsby Lincs to an Elizabeth Chambers. On their marriage certificate is says that Johns father was William a printer deceased, so he died before 1890.It also says that John was age 24yr so born about 1866. A distant relative has suggested that John was born in Salford in Lancashire hence this entry. Robinson is not the best of names to research and Ive searched for almost a year to find any info so any help would be appreciated on either John or his father William

HENRY was born in Pendleton about 1835and had several brothers & sisters: Joseph,Patrick,Thomas,Edward,Eliza,Ellen,James. All were born in the Pendleton, Salford area. Any help would be much appreciated.
red mail SMETHURST William Hatter
I am looking for more info on my Gt Gt Grandfather William Smethurst, and Lydia Holt my Gt Gt Grandmother. One of their children Lydia Mary Chadwick Smethurst is my Gt Grandmother and she married William Taylor a plumber in the first quarter of 1865 in Cockermouth. At some point prior to 1875 William and Lydia Taylor (nee Smethurst) went to New Zealand where they had four boys but I believe they may have had children prior to going to NZ. I am rather far away from Salford Lancs or Cockermouth so getting any more info is diffcult so would be much appreciated.
