Looking for information about Thomas Griffith Jones and His wife, Mary Ann. Thomas was a Shoemaker and was in the Salford area in 1901. There children were Beatrice b1879, Thomas B1884, Annie b1887, John b1889, Lily b1891, Jesse b1893, William b1895 and Robert b1897. John is my great grandfather who married Edith Elizabeth Fraser in 1910 in Denton, Manchester. I cannot find them on the 1891 census but I have them on the 1881, and 1901. Any help please

Can anyone help me I am looking for any details of Mary Jane and how and where she died. She married Benjamin Derbyshire in 1898 at St Lukes church Salford, they had two children Doris and Benjamin. Although I know the details of Ben Snr I am having trouble with Mary Jane. i do know that the story goes that she was admitted to a Santorium, but I am wondering if she just split from her husband and ended up in a workhouse. I have tried to trace the workhouse records but apparently they were destroyed in WWII when a bomb hit Salford Town Hall. Anyone with any information please contact me.

I am Looking for any information on a John Fulcher Born in Winfarthing in Norfolk in about 1861 and he came to live in Salford or Manchester from Mansfield in about 1920 till his death in 1946. His wife was called Louisa. Their Daughter Beatrice Emily Evans lived with her husband Ernest William Evans at 11 South Short St Ordsall. Emily and Ernest had a son also called Ernest born in Mansfield at 56 Welbeck st in 1908. I would like to Know Louisa's Maiden Name and the Address where they lived in Manchester or Salford as they were buried from 11 South Short St and interned in Phillips Park Cemetry Manchester.

Harriet Harrison Married Joshua Hall in 1860 Mottram-he became owner of Kingston Mills Cotton Factory owned by his father Robert Hall & Son Ltd, Joshua & Harriet later lived in Kingston House Newton Cheshire, they had 5 Sons. Mary Ann Married John Clayton Widower in Mottram-Jane Married John Turnock Licensee he died abt 2 yrs later & moved back from Bramhall to Mottram. Joseph Harrison Married Harriet Cooper who's Father John Cooper d in 1844-he owned a Tallow Candle & Oil Manufacturing Works in Spout Green Hollingworth Mother Mary Cooper nee Earnshawe her sister was Mary ann Cooper-Brother's John- William-(David?). Mary ann Brown went to Cheshire we believe in 1886? with children she dissapeared in Feb 1886 we believe could have died in a Manchester Home or Workhouse Grandad & Harriet were put into a home till found we believe by her Brother Joseph Harrison until he died aged 36 in Hyde Cheshire he Married in 1875 to Elizabeth Burgess & had Son Allan Harrison 1876 & Joseph B 1880 & lived in Denton Hyde..Allan Married Maggie Bickerdike in 1900. Daughter Mary Elizabeth b 1901-Son Herbert b1904-Daughter Edith b 1906 Daughter May b1908 -(Edie Emigrated to Perth abt 1948 with Fiancee Billy Phillips) she had 2 Brothers?. We Believe Allan's Father Joseph Harrison worked for his Uncle Joshua & Harriet Hall as a Book Keeper in their Mill till he Died in 1890 aged 36 as in 1871- 1881 Census .Brother Joseph M Amelia Brook. Grandad & Harriet Ended up in Liverpool by 1891 Census after their Father put them with a family friend.Harriet sadly ended up in The Liverpool Sheltering Home in April 1892 & sent to Canada 2 weeks later (unknown to grandad as he was away for a year or so looking for work), till found by Evans her father & sent to her uncle in Va Usa abt 1896, Grandad went in the Army when he found out & after the SA Boer War went to USA in Jan 1903 to bring her home but tragically she had died. I found Ggggrandfather Joseph Harrison's Will where we found his son Joseph was living in Australia which had never been mentioned, They brought their Grandson Joseph up & cut his sister their Grandaughter our Great grandmother Mary ann Brown out of his will in 1870 no idear why?he didn't mention his Daughter- in- Law Harriet either,all other Children & In-Laws were mentioned, Any Information Welcome, Anne.

I am looking for John Wilson, born in Salford in 1822, he marries Charlotte Green in 1841. I think his mother was Mary Wilson, nee Read but she was a widow in 1816 and John was not born until 1822. His father was a soldier named John Wilson. This information has been taken from his marriage certificate, his second marriage in 1881. I have hit a brick wall with this one, any help gratefully recieved.
