I'm looking for any family links to frederick w SAUNDERS born Circ 1892 occupation coal hewer / fanny elizabeth TRIVETT born Circ 1896. Marriage 1919 Pontypridd. It is said that 13 children came from this marriage, my mother being one and arriving in 1928 namely Marjorie Doreen Sophia SAUNDERS later becoming ROBERTS. I have only ever met one other member of this line of the family, this being Joyce E V SAUNDERS, later to become THOMAS, born 1921, immigrating to Perth Australia Circa 1970. it is known that one brother died after an accident and another brother was named Charlie, the only other names I have are from a census search but with no confirmation that there is a link other than the female maiden name of TRIVETT. The only other piece of information I have is that all the children were placed in the care of "Barnardos" but when and where is not known and can't be confirmed. Any help or possible connection would be very much appreciated.

red mail Morgan Family
I am currently looking for any of the Morgan family left in Pontypridd, my grandfather was David Llewellyn Morgan (1905) who married Catherine Sullivan (1908) had a daughter Maureen (1934) They lived in 8 Jones Street, Cilfynydd. David was killed during WW2 (1944) and is buried out in Anzio, Italy. His father was Moses Owen Morgan (1881) and his mother was Rachel Davies (1883) They lived at 21 Wood Street, Cilfynydd. David Llewellyn was one of 6 children: John, Mair, Arthur, Maldwyn & Dilys. David's grandparents were Rees (1847) and Jane Morgan (1846) from Llanidloes. In the 1901 Census Rees has passed away and Jane was living at 22 Wood Street, Cilfynydd with Moses Owen, Winifred Elizabeth and Sarah Anne by 1911 Jane resided at 59 Richard Street, Cilfynydd with her Daughter Sarah (1887) and Son in Law William Davies (1885). Charles C (1892-1942) and Ernest S (1894-1971) WARBURTON were brothers, they were born in Pontypridd Cardiff. Their parents were Thomas WARBURTON and Jane HOUSE. During WW1 they joined the RAMC, I have two photographs of young soldiers wearing RAMC uniforms but I have not been able to confirm if this is definitely the two brothers. Recently I discovered that in 1915 Charles was serving in the Balkans and Ernest regiment was in Egypt. The family history grapevine says that two brothers were also at the Military Hospital in Netley near Southampton during WW1. The 1939 register address for Charles and his wife Phyliss is 33 Dyffryn Crescent Pontypridd and Ernest and his wife Lilith is 59 Park Street Treforest Pontypridd. I would very much like to have confirmation if these lovely photographs are Charles and Ernest they have been kept in the family album for such a long time. Please get in touch if you are able to confirm and name who these fine young men are. Thank you.

red mail Jenkins, Roberts
Samson and Jockey Roberts (brothers) moved to Pontypridd from the South of England to start a scrap metal business. Jockeys real name was William. At some point Jockey returned South, and Samson spent time in Newport before settling in a village called Aberkenfig. My concern is Samson's daughter Gentila (also mistranscribed as Genty, Jentela etc) who met a David Jenkins in Pontypridd, (he was born 1886 in Pontypridd, father named John Jenkins a coal miner) and on the 1911 census is camped in woods in Abersychan with him and their baby Celia born 1910. My particular interest is that the baby 'disappeared' from the family and was never spoken of. We've traced her forward, including buying her marriage cert, and so we know she didn't die. She did keep her Jenkins surname til marriage so wasn't adopted, unless by her fathers family. Gentila later remarried and had 3 children (one my grandmother) who knew nothing about little Celia. David had a sister Rachel Jenkins born 1889 in Pontypridd. Thankyou, sorry very long winded!!
