Sarah Dennis (Smith)
I have an ancestor George Smith who according to the later census returns was born in Lincoln. He and his family lived in Osbaldwick, York then moved onto Kippax nr. Leeds, before coming to rest at Spofforth near Harrogate. George married a Sarah Dennis, who apparently was born in Peterboro' about 1833. I am looking for anyone with any information on Sarah, I cannot trace her or any of her family on any web site... I don't know when or where she married George... Their first child seems to be Emily, Christened 1864, and I have several after that, but maybe Sarah had been married previously??, and Dennis was her married name?? If anyone out there in the Peterboro' area has any details at all, I would be very grateful
