Looking for help to find an Address of a G G Uncle Richard P James b1857 Newlyn . All i know is that Richard lived with his Wife Elizabeth E James b 1862 and Children in Fore Street Newlyn in 1901. Unfortunatley i cannot get the House number in Fore St. If anyone can help here i appreciate this and thank you .

red mail Death by drowning Archie James aged 7
Please can anyone help me to find the Obituary for a distant relative from Newlyn ? as part of my Family tree i am compiling a file . I came across a record on Ancestry site stating that little Archie James (aged just 7) Died by drowning in Newlyn Harbour in 1897. I do not have access to the "Cornishman" newspaper , which i assume it is in , hence i am asking for support here. I appreciate all help and thank you.

Looking for any help in researching my distant ancestor Elizabeth James born 1758 in Paul Cornwall. I know she Married a Martin Chirgwin in Cornwall. I wish to add Elizabeth to my Family tree with any stories about her. Somewhere along the line i think there are Farmers and market gardens. Any help is appreciated.

Looking for more information about an ancestor in my f tree. Nicholas Kelynack was born in 1803 in Paul Cornwall. I know he was a Capt of a fishing ship PZ Olivia in Newlyn. Please can anyone find out about his background all i know is that he Died in 1856. I appreciate all support and thanks.

Hello all , As part of my Family tree search i have hit a "brick wall". One of my distant ancestors was a Richard Jabez Williams born 1859 in Paul Newlyn. He Married a Mary Hichens in Paul and emigrated to Montana us around 1888. "Can anyone find out more about this man?". Maybe his time in the US etc... I appreciate any help here .Thanks.

"Can anyone help me to find the Children of my 2nd Great Uncle ?". I have Henry James born 1880 Paul Cornwall , as my 2nd G Uncle . His Father was Henry James b1848 and Mother was Cath James b1850s. Uncle Henry's Wife was a Cecilia Flett Alder b1879. I have searched Family Search site but no luck here!. I have hit a "brick wall" it seems. Any support here is much appreciated and Thank you .

I was wondering if anyone has any old photos of the village of Paul in Newlyn (late 1800s) all my ancestors James family where born here. I am compiling a family history file and wish to add photos of this location in Newlyn. I know it was a fishing port and my ancestors where fishermen ie; Henry , Francis and francis jnr. Looking for information about my 3rd G Grandfather Francis James b 1818 Newlyn. I do have a good deal on his family etc. So i am curious about his early life in Newlyn. It is a family rumour that Francis was in the Merchant Navy around 1838??. I would be most grateful if anyone could confirm this fact . It all adds to his storyline on my family tree. Thank you all.

red mail Was Aunt Philis Willis in Bodmin Gaol?
Looking to confirm if a distant Aunt was in Bodmin Gaol in 1824. Philis Willis was born 1799 in Paul and her Father was a John Willis(born 1767) and Mother Elizabeth Willis. When i looked through the Ancestry site i saw a brief record under Philis's hints. The record states a Philis Willis aged 25 was an inmate in 1824??. I am not fully subscribed to Ancestry so cannot dig further. "Could anyone please track this record to confirm if it is my Ancestor?". I appreciate any help and thanks.

red mail Did John Cotton have criminal record?
Looking for more info on an ancestor John Cotton born 1795 in Paul cornwall. All i know is that he Married a Margaret Tonkin b1795 . I had a quick look on Ancestry site , and because i am not subscribed can't access the Criminal register record? All i saw was a John Cotton b1795 under the "Criminal record heading in 1836". I am curious to see if it is my ancestor here. If anyone could find out anymore i would be grateful thank you.
