I have a the name Eleanor Cooper but I'm not sure where she fits into the family. He is buried at St Mary's Church in Oldswinford. Would appreciate any help or advice. Many thanks

red mail Edward Wilcox clockmaker
At Epiphany 1715ns Edward Wilcox the clockmaker was convicted of swearing two oaths and paid four shillngs into the Poor Box and sat in the stocks for two hours. I would like to know more about this clockmaker - I suspect he may have been Master when my 5xggf served his apprenticeship in 1702.
red mail Smith 1714
My 4xggm was a Mary Smith. My cowardly nature has kept me from trying to find her ancestry even though I have been researching my family tree for 44 years! But lately I have screwed up my courage and tried. Various pointers have made me conclude that she was probably born in 1714 or 1715. I began to collect all the christenings of Mary SmithÕs within 30 miles of the place she married which was Claverley SAL ? 18 of them. Two in particular have interested me ? Mary Smith b: 4 Apr 1714, x: 10 Apr 1714 Old Swinford WOR. Mary Smith b: 23 Apr 1715, x: 25 Apr 1715 Old Swinford WOR. My Mary SmithÕs father-in-law was born in Old Swinford and I wondered if her husband met her when visiting his grandparents. There is nothing about any of the others I have found which makes them more likely than each other. Does anyone have anything on either of these SMITH families from Old Swinford WOR?
