red mail Laggan House Cookham Rd Maidenhead
I'm researching the history of Laggan House which was built around 1881 on present day Cookham Road Maidenhead. Some of the occupants I have discovered are Sir Astley Cooper Key, Richard King Peirce & Charles S S Brown. The house was demolished in the 1960's to make way for shops and flats. I would be most interested if anyone has any information for me, especially photographs.

red mail Edward Thomas Collins
Hi I'm searching for info on my grandfather, Edward Thomas Collins. In the 1920s he lived at 21 Park Street, Maidenhead, but from 1930 there's no record of him. He ran businesses from this address - a painter & decorator, and a masseur. He also used the names Colin Tortay and Thomas Colin-Tortay. He had some links to St John's Ambulance or the Red Cross locally and also to Maidenhead United Football Club as a trainer / physio. If anyone can shed any light on him, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Michael
