I am searching for further details about Harry Lowe,(1877 - 1942),my paternal grandfather of 18 St Pauls Road.He was born in Leeds, son of William Lowe and Amelia (nee Drane), who were married 18th April 1870 in Westminster. I can find Harry Lowe in the 1881 census records living in Leeds, but as yet no trace for 20 years until 1901 census when he is living with an Uncle/Aunt in Shenley, Herts. There is also the mystery of his WW1 service as he enlisted or was conscripted in 1915 aged 37 and according to family history was injured or wounded in 1918 as the result of an explosion , spending some considerable time in hospital in London (not known where) recovering.
