My Great, great, great grandfather John Hardwick was born in Llanbister in 1766 (he was christened on the 26/1/1766). He had a sister Anne born in 1763. Their parents were John & Ann Hardwick (nee Griffiths). John was born about 1739 and Ann 1741 - they married on the 12/6/1762, in Llanbister. Anyone out there who may know who John & Ann's parents were, and who Ann Hardwick married? My grandfather John moved to Aymestrey, Herefordshire, where he married twice. His first wife was a Jane Griffiths, who sadly died. He married again an Elizabeth Jones (born in Welshpool). I am decended from their daughter Elizabeth born in 1820. Hoping there may be someone out there who may have some info. on these two families.
