All their children were born in Belfast, the oldest just before civil registration began. They were in Liverpool by the 1861 census, where Margaret lived the rest of her life at 80 Wood St. She died there in 1902, age 80. All 1861-1901 censuses list her as born in Ireland. Hammond, Crosswanedy Green, Chepstow, 12. 12.12. does anyone know who could relate to it ? 2 or 3 years ago I wrote to the local free paper in Chepstow, enclosed the photo, and explained the story, but had no response, I have a copy of the photo if anyone is interested.
