which Lydia Moorhouse?
Lydia Moorhouse married John Chatterton 26 June 1796, at All Hallows Church. They had at least three sons Jonathan 1797, George 1799, and David 1801 before she died in 1802. Who were her parents and where was she born? There were several Lydia Moorhouses in the area. Her son George had a son named Joseph Morehouse Chatterton, which is a nice clue but not a proof. Has anyone seen her grave in Kirkburton Cemetery or at Honley, where I believe they lived at the time of her death? Neysa in Pennsylvania

red mail Marriage Green and Tinker
Does anybody have a connection with a TAMAR TINKER who married JOSEPH GREEN at SILKSTONE in 1730 ? alternatively if anyone has access to the original registers I would me most appreciative if they could do a lookup to see if the Grooms occupation was mentioned or any other helpful info. Also if they had any children. I am hoping that they had an Edward and Ann if so that would solve a problem of many years frustrating search. many thanks, Meg

red mail Looking for a marriage between John Noble and Lydia ?
Hello Could anyone help me please? I am looking for a marriage between John Noble born 1780 in Thurstonland, Kirkburton, Huddersfield and Lydia (do not have her maiden name) but she was born 1786 also in Thurstonland. John is buried in All Hallows Parish Churchyard, Kirkburton in 1857 but no trace of Lydia I have them both on the 1841 and 1851 Census and her Christian name clearly states "Lydia." I would have thought that they were married at the above Church in the early 1800's but so far I am drawing a blank. Any help on this would be very much appreciated. Liz

red mail Grime family
I am looking for Eliza Grime who married Thomas Butcher of Shelley who was born abt 1804. Eliza was living in Kirkburton in 1851 but died in 1859 and is buried at Kirkburton All Hallows Parish Church. I can;t find her pob or dob and don't know her parents. Ancestry suggested (incorrectly I think) that her details were 1809 Portsmouth. Well 1809 could be correct but Portsmouth is likely wrong. Can you find this anomally of mine and put an end to hours, days, weeks, months of toil to achieve nothing!
