red mail Watts wedding photo
I have a photo of the wedding in Hull on 25.3.1947 of Mabel Jones and Cyril Watts. It ought to be with that family, though as my mother's name was Jones I would like to know what relation Mabel was to my mother - incidentally also a Mabel Jones!

red mail GARTON
I am looking for my grandfather, Frederick GARTON, b c 31 Dec. 1857. He came to Australia before 1881 on advice of George Garton, descendant of Adam Garton, Harbour Master of Hull. I cannot locate his entry into Australia, his death certificate states 'County unknown'. His sons were named Frederick, George and William.

In some non-family papers I have come across a page from an autograph album with a pen drawing and a verse signed by Jno. Coates June 6, 1914. I would be happy if this could find its proper home.

red mail Maddison
Edith Mary Huntsman my gt-aunt was b. East Yorkshire 1873 and married in 1913 Alfred Maddison. He was killed in WW1 in France in 1916. What became of Edith? Her mother Sarah Huntsman married for the first time Jonathan Land of Hornsea (not Hornsey) in 1875, so you see what the problem may have been. I have not yet looked at the censuses rom 1881 to see whether she was 'cast out' or not. I hope to hear something, however slight. I would like also to know about Alfred. Norman.

red mail Jones marriage
Richard Jones, my gt-gt-uncle, born Cheshire 1835, came to Hull 1850s but family also used surname Roberts and were photographers. I do not know if Richard married, but assume, if he did, it would be in Hull. The only marriages I can find are to Hannah Perrey (Perry?) and Ellen Collingwood, both in 1874. Is there any link please?

red mail Jones Marriage
Anne (Annie?) Elizabeth Jones may have married 1879-1888 in Hull. If so, the husband may have been one (or more!) of Blagdon (1879) Bland and Mason (both 1884), Peak (1887) and Howard (1888). Anne was b. 1856 Cheshire but the family came to Hull - her father George Jones (sometimes trading as Roberts)was a photographer in Wincolmlee. Her mother was Margaret Roberts. Any thoughts please?
