red mail Sugar/Marks Information
Hello, my great grandmother was Rachel Marks, married to Abraham Sugar around 1901 in a Hull synagogue-they both immigrated as children from Prussia. Rachel Sugar is buried in the Ella Street Cemetery. I am looking for any information about them. My grandfather (their son) passed away in 2002, and didn't speak much of his mother, as she "went away" after giving birth to 8 boys and losing her parents in the span of 14 years. She lived until 1966 without most of our family knowing. I am trying to trace her from 1920 until her death and am finding it difficult from afar. I'd like to visit someday to work on this, until then, I thought I'd see if anyone out there could help. Thanks in advance!

red mail Hull, Thomas Wilson, Ruby Broadley
I am seeking information about THOMAS WILSON (which may not be his birth name, possible date of birth 30 October 1888) who I think left Hull probably in the early 1920s with Ruby Alice BROADLEY (nee Wilson). Ruby has been identified, contact made with her descendants, and her life until she left Hull has been traced, but I have no information about Thomas' life. Ruby and Thomas appear in London in 1923 and I have traced their lives from then until their deaths in 1972 and 1951 respectively. Any help in identifying who Thomas Wilson really was would be appreciated. He had a strong Yorkshire accent, but nothing else is known.

red mail Charles Edward Warner
I would be grateful for any information on Charles Edward WARNER whose son Charles Clarence WARNER was born in in Barbados in 1846. At the time of Charles Clarence's baptism, he was a grocer in Barbados and married to Sarah Ben WARNER (nee EVERSLEY), who died in Barbados in 1854. Charles Clarence returned to the UK and was living in Hull in 1871 and married Hannah SMITH in 1873. His occupation was listed as seaman. On this marriage document Charles Edward WARNER is listed as his father, occupation Licensed Victualler, however I am unable to find any information for him in East Yorkshire/UK and would dearly love to know more. Thank you. Louise
