Local librarian and nurse marry 1934
Alice M Colburn and Charles H Senior - Married in Kings Lynn in 1934. He was possibly the chief librarian, she had been working in poor law. I have official records and family history after they left KL, to live for some time in Northern Ireland, so it is the time before the marriage when they lived in KL I am researching.

Herring
Does anyone have any information about the Herring family in the mid-C19? Various generations appear to have been called John or Jonathan, or sometimes John Jonathan. I believe they were shopkeepers, possibly fruiterers or confectioners.

red mail Frederick PLOWRIGHT married 1863 possibly Castle Rising nr Kings Lynn
Frederic(k) PLOWRIGHT(born about 1838) married Mary Ann(e) MARSTERS in quarter 2 of 1863 in the district of Freebridge Lynn, possibly at St Laurence in Castle Rising. I am keen to see the marriage certificate or parish record entry for this marriage to be sure who were the fathers of Frederick & Mary Ann. I wonder if anybody has either of these documents & would be willing to share? Frederick was my friend's great grandfather. He moved to Colchester in Essex & sadly was killed in an accident on the railway at Hythe Station in 1901. Hope you can help. Thanks, Angela

Elizabeth Stafford, possible middle name Swithin/Swithern
I previously posted asking for information on Elizabeth Swithin born Kings Lynn area c1794, later Elizabeth Gould living in Leader St, Chelsea. I have now found that her maiden name was Stafford but on her burial and death records she is described as Elizabeth Swithin Gould so I am wondering if her middle name was Swithin or Swithern. Her maiden name has been obtained from her daughter's birth certificate so I feel it is probably correct. If anyone can give any information, I would appreciate it.

Elizabeth Swithin
I am looking for baptism record for the above lady c1801 in Lynn or West Lynn. She is shown in the 1841 and 1851 census as Elizabeth Gould in Chelsea London and shown as born Lynn Norfolk. If anyone has Swithins in their tree around 1800, I would love to hear from you.
