red mail owen/Barker
I have been looking at my family who lived in Stourport on Severn. The Owens (my Grandmother?Grandfather) and the Barkers.I have managed to get back to 1798 when some of the owens were still living in or around Clun after that everyone seemed to move to Stourport.Curious of there are still relatives in that area or anyone who may know where the owens came from (assuming Wales, with that name)Any help would be appreciated.

Richard and Hannah Lloyd Kidderminster 1850
Hi, Im an Australian doing research on my ancestors, some of them coming originally from Kidderminster. Richard Lloyd, born 1820 was a weaver and he lived at Caldwell Row but sailed for Australia in 1852 aboard the 'Marion Moore' with wife Hannah Hardiman b. 1820, daughter Martha Hardiman Lloyd b. 1840, son Thomas b. 1943, Richard b. 1846, Henry b. 1848, George b. 1850 and Elizabeth b. 1852 (I think aboard ship). On arrival in Australia they first went to Geelong and then on to Ballarat goldfields. I am currently writing a book on various members of my ancestor family and want to include Richard, Hannah and the children in it. I need information on how to find out where Richard worked as a weaver in Kidderminster. The 'Lloyds' date back living in Kidderminster but I just cannot find information without flying to England. Any tips on how I can source information from here? Thanks Joanne

red mail ENGLAND family, c.1800s/1900s
I'm hoping that someone might have some information on the ENGLAND family of Kidderminster - specifically the family of one HERBERT JOHN (or the other way around) ENGLAND and his wife, ROSE ENGLAND (nee Walton). Rose was my great-great-grandmother, and I am keen to learn more about the family she later married into. She lived in Kidderminster until at least the early 1970s, and her husband "Mr England" died some years prior, I think. I'd like to know who his parents/grandparents were, and more about him, if possible. Thank you.
