red mail Dunford Family
We have a family tree from 1700 approx of Dunfords in most village and towns in Rutland, but focussing on Ketton. My connection is that my mother, Dorothy King (1895-1986), was a Latimore (also from Ketton)and her mother was Harriett Latimore (Dunford) 1866-1944. Her parents were Edward Dunford and Sarah Dunford (Oxborough). I am interested in any history of Ketton, particularly old photos, and would also be interested to hear from any surviving relatives still living in the area. The Dunford tree is very extensive and goes to America and Australia.

red mail Ketton
Has anyone heard of the Thompson family who lived in Ketton in the late 1800's - early 1900's? My grandmother was Ada Thompson and her sister was called Nelly. We have been told she was born in the Black Bull public house in approx 1891? We believe the pub was in Ketton, but this may not be accurate? The family moved to Nottingham, but again we are not sure when? If anyone has any information relating to my grandmother I would be very grateful if you could contact me.
