red mail Harris family in Kenton
I am researching the Harris family in Kenton from the 1700s to the late 1800s. The earliest member is Richard Licence Harris christened 17/6/1764 at Kenton. He married Grace Mortimer on 9/11/ 1791 at Kenton. They had a son also Richard Licence Harris born 1794 at Kenton. He married Maria Cann on 20/6/1819 at St Sidwell Exeter. Their children were Richard born 1821 at Mamhead, John born 1824 at Mamhead, Abraham born 1826 at Dawlish, and Ann born 1832 at Starcross. John married Mary Ann Sercombe circa 1844. In the 1881 census two of John's sons Albert and William and William's family comprising his wife Sarah children Ernest, Amy and Edith were living at 3 Alexandra Place Starcross Kenton. I'm interested to learn anything about the family particularly around Kenton. Albert Harris was my Ggrandfather

George Frend
George Frend was a wealthy businessman with interests in Portugal. He was living with his wife, Marianne (or Mary Ann) nee Parminter, at a property called Venard, or Venards, in South Town, Kenton from 1797 to 1801. From 1793 to 1796 the property was owned by a Miss Parminter (probably a cousin of George's wife). Can anyone help me to locate the property ?
