I am seeking information on Jonas Rhodes b 1811 in Harden, his wife Elizabeth nee Leach b 1809-1811 and d 1882, and one their four children, George b 1831. Jonas and family moved from Bingley to 1 Paradise Rd (now Highgate) before 1851 and lived there until his death in 1880. He had a grocery store which later included a sub-post office. I believe Jonas' father was Joseph b 1783 and Joseph's father was possibly John b 1757. I would like any clues to Jonas' mother and any possible siblings. Elizabeth states on each census she was born in Wilsden. There are many Leach families around Wilsden but I can't find a likely birth or a link as yet. Family story states 'Hull, shipping and cargo' so maybe there is a canal family connection. Any pointers most appreciated.

red mail anyone researching
The Robinson family who were living in Heaton Aireville rd. on the 1881/1891 census. I have a Robert Robinson, wife Martha nee Bottomley. In the 1871 census they were living in West Morton with there children, Ellen Isobella, Sarah Ann and John Henry Horne Robinson. Martha's parents Tobias and Sarah also there. Robert's father was a Richard Robinson, but can find nothing else on the Robinson side, ie, where they came from? Who was Roberts mother or if he had any siblings? Is there anyone out there who may be able to help? Would very much like to hear from anyone with even the mearest thread, thankyou.
