red mail Jory Family
I am trying to find information on my Great Great Grandfather Henry Jory, born around 1813. He married Mary Jeffery. One of his daughters Rosina (my Great Grandmother) married John Jackson/Taylor, they came to South Wales. I have been told that before moving to South Wales Rosina's husband's name was John Taylor, for some reason they changed their name to Jackson. I have found on some of the census that Henry was noted as being blind and I would like to be able to find some confirmation of this and hopefully the cause. Any help would be very much appreciated. M.

I am a descendant of James Tregoning and Mary Isaac of Gwennap, Cornwall, via their son William who emigrated to Australia in 1851. I'm interested in getting in touch with other people researching this family. I also have an indirect interest in the family of Thomas Tregoning and Elizabeth Edwards of Gwennap, and hold information about their son Joseph b1834.

red mail Ann BARRETT
I've hit a brick wall with Ellen BRAY. One source gives her mother as Ann BARRETT, b. 1786 in Gwennap. She married William BRAY in the Parish of Lanivet "William Bray bachelor Ann Barrett spinster 23/05/1819 - Their marks - Witnesses Wm Barrett and John Mannell." One source gives William being born in Helston. I'm having trouble confirming any details about this family, any assistance would be great. Ellen came to Australia in 1847 on board the "Cressy", to Adelaide, SA.
