red mail Bolton - Andrew Families
I'm looking for relatives named either Bolton or Andrew in the Guisborough area. My Grandmother was Norah Andrew nee Bolton who lived in Swinton, Manchester. She was born in 1900 in Walkden and I'm certain she had relatives, a brother perhaps, in Guisborough. I actually briefly visited a lady in the 1970's/80's but I can't remember who it was, (I was literally passing by and my gran asked me to call in and say hello). I think Norah was the youngest (although she may have had a younger brother, Jimmy, who went to live in America), and had sisters Edith May, Leana and Hilda and Brothers Thomas, William and Arthur. I also remember an Uncle Harold Bolton, who lived in Swinton, and had a daughter named Alhana. If any of this sounds at all familiar, please get in touch. Many thanks. John

red mail Davison
I am researching my family tree and my paternal grandmother is difficult to trace further back. All I know is her name - Charlotte Florence Davison born 1901 and that she was from Guisborough and had a sister called Marion. Her only living daughter tells me that she was told her mother came from "good stock" and was well educated. She told tales that she was a decendant from Hartleys jam people, whether this was fact or fiction we do not know! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
