Barnard
Looking for info about Elizabeth Brand BARNARD, nee ADAMS, baptised at Great Waltham 2/5/1825 daughter of Samuel Adams, miller and farmer, and his wife Mary nee BRAND (who came from Thaxted). Married 24/9/1846 at Gt Dunmow to Wyatt BARNARD, farmer of Little Canfield, son of John Barnard. Wyatt appears to have died 1856. I know of three children of the marriage, Mary Elizabeth, aged 11 at 1861 census, Fanny Jane (8) and Wyatt Henry (5).In 1881 Elizabeth was living and farming at "Olives", Great Dunmow, Mary and Fanny were living with her, unmarried, but Wyatt junior was living as a boarder in Kensington, London. Elizabeth seems to have died 12/1887 apparently never remarried. I would be very grateful for any info re what happened to her children and any later descendants. Her father Samuel Adams once owned the site of my house, hence my interest.
