red mail Looking for information about Symon Snell 1672 - 1733
I'm looking for any information about SYMON SNELL born in Exeter in 1672 and died in Burrington, Devon in 1733. He was married to a lady called JANE BALEY, and I have a date of the marriage as 1697. They went on to have at least 8 children, including Andrew from whom I'm descended. But I have no details as to either set of parents. Any pointers or facts would be greatly appreciated.

Davey and Sons, Painters and Decorators, Southernhay
John Davey and Elizabeth Gibbs were married at St Mary Arches, Exeter on 11 December 1791. They had five sons, two of whom (John and Charles) joined their father in his painting and decorating business. By 1841 John snr was employing 22 men in the business and two servants at home. Another son, William, was supplying paints to artists and decorators. His business was in Fore Street. After John snr's death in 1852 the decorating business continued in the hands of his sons and grandson. I am trying to find out more about the remaining two sons, Edward and Thomas. Edward was born in 1801 and died in 1837. Thomas was born 1797 and also died in 1837; his burial record describes him as an accountant. Any information about the family would be welcome.

red mail William Bradford
Looking for info on William Bradford and his wife Sarah whose surname is either Linton or Ford. William was born according to the census's in Exeter circa 1815. I have a marriage cert to a Sarah Linton at St Martins in the Fields London to a Sarah Linton. the dates and occupations all tie in but the birth certs for William and Sarahs children all state mothers maiden name as Ford. Also the 1851 census has a daughter Selina born 1830 in Somerset which would have made William and Sarah very young when she was born (not impossible I know) I have been unable to discover Selina after the 1851 census either as getting married or having died. I have since found a Elizabeth Bradford living with a Tom Ford and his family in Somerset on the 1841 census. Any help would be gratefully rec'd
