red mail Rebecca Dunn wife of William Hyland
I am looking for details about Rebecca DANN and her spouse William HYLAND and most especially their offspring. I believe I have correctly found both the birth dates and death dates for Hannah HYLAND and John HYLAND but all I can find for William HYLAND (son) is a birth date of 1847 - no month or day and no death records. I do however find a William HYLAND DANN born in Ticehurst in 1843 and death in 1844. William HYLAND (1816) married Rebecca DANN in 1845. Is this perhaps how they would have registered a birth of a child born out of wedlock? If so is it reasonable to think they would have also named a second son William in 1847 and how might I find more about him?
