Entries around
Passey family
I'm looking for links to the Passey family, especially Samuel Passey b. around 1742 who may have been the Samuel Passey who later turned up in Gloucestershire. According to the LDS records this Samuel's parents were John Passey and Elizabeth and he seems to have had various siblings who stayed in Shropshire.

red mail Wyatt family history
I am trying to find if the Wyatt family of Cleobury Mortimer were related to the Wyatts' of Great Kyre, and later Tedstone Delamare. I believe that it is possible that John Wyatt of Great Kyre, who was married to Mary Postens (born 1750), might have moved to Cleobury and started a branch of the family there. (As with all family research, I might be completely wrong!)
red mail Peter Blount clockmaker 1688-1765
Peter Blount the clockmaker of Cleobury Mortimer married secondly Mary LACON 1st June 1738. I think she was a widow and that her son by her 1st marriage - Francis LACON - married Peter Blount's daughter, Anne. Anne was born in 1722, so Francis LACON should have been born about 1720. I have not been able to find a Francis LACON with a mother called Mary born around 1720. Can you help?
red mail James BLAKEWAY born c1801 Cleobury Mortiner/Hopton Wafers
Searching for any data on the BLAKEWAY family of Cleobury Mortimer/ Hopton Wafers, Shropshire. I believe that James BLAKEWAY born c1801 was my ggg grandfather. His parents may have been James BLAKEWAY & Elizabeth YARRINGTON who married in Cleobury Mortimer in 1790 but I've not managed to verify that as yet. He moved to Birmingham sometime before 1822 and his descendants remained there. Any information on him or any of his family would be gratefully received.
red mail George Morris
I am seeking information on my great-great grandfather, George Morris, a baker who lived in Bethnal Green in 1841, but who was born, according to the 1851 census, in Cleobury, Shropshire in c1789. George and his brother John married two sisters, Hannah and Agnes Gypson (b c1794 & 1799) in St Luke's Church, Old Street on 12 Jan 1819. They were the daughters ofRichard Gypson and his wife Mary (nee Winmill). Hannah died in 1848, but they had about 3 children (1841 census), John (c1824), Mary (c1826) and Henry (1837 - 1881). George died in Bethnal Green around 1862.
