red mail George or John POLLARD Greeen grocer 1881
Any information on this family would be gratefully received. Could there have been more than one green grocer in Clayton Le Moors in 1883? My GGrandmother ALICE REED nee POLLARD's birth certificate has her father as GEORGE Pollard. GEORGE POLLARD is the informant at the death of his wife, J Jane Pollard's in 1884. Alice is living with George(Green Grocer) and Judith Jane Pollard in 1881. So who was JOHN Pollard Grocer named on my GGrandmother's(Alice Pollard) marriage certificate as her father in 1883?
