I am looking for any Livingston(e)/Levingston family in Northern Ireland that might have a David b/abt.1799 and his wife Sarah b/abt.1800 from the Newry area in their family tree or family bible. They had children by the names Harriet, William, Charles & John all born in Newry. The family left Ireland abt 1830 and came to Live in Liverpool Eng. Where they had 4 more children James, Margaret Sarah & David. I have the info on them after they came to England .But I am interested in finding some on their life back in Ireland. such as Davids parents and when the family might of originally came from Scotland? and Sarahs maiden name. etc. Or where I might email for info on this subject. Thank you. ...Gary

red mail Looking for Lowry's
I am looking for information on the Lowry family. My great great grandfather was Alexander Lowry who had a son Samuel Lowry, my great grandfather. He had two sons George and James Lowry. They lived in townland called Ballymacarther, Greencastle in County Donegal, Inishowen. I have not been able to establish where the Lowry's came from originally, however I was told that George Lowry, my great uncle was called by the nickname "Newry". So I'm trying to make connections with people in Newry with the surname Lowry in the hopes that I could find our where Alexander Lowry came from. He was probably born in the late 1700's to early 1800's. Thank you
