MORGAN department store
I am trying to find out about my great aunt, Ethelinda OLDRIDGE, who is listed in the 1901 census as being one of about sixteen drapers assistants with the address of 25 Queen Street, Cardiff. Would this have been the MORGAN department store? If so, did they provide accommodation for their workers? My great aunt's family had by that time moved from Cardiff to Weston-Super-Mare so I imagine she would have needed to live near her place of work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Roma.

red mail Rachel Edwards married with John Wile in April 1848.
Very confusing ancestor please help. Rachel Edwards married with John Wile in April 1848. They married in Cardiff and their parents are David Wile and Edward Edwards. Ive got the marriage certificate. In 1851 Rachel Edwards now Wild is with her husband and her grandmother a widowed shopkeepers wife called Mary Hughes. The only Rachel Edwards christened to Edward Edwards is to mother Margaret Lewis in Llanpumpsaint Carmarthenshire 1830 but this one almost certainly gets married to David Rees in 1865 in Abergwili Carmarthenshire and the mother isnt Hughes- its Lewis so the grandmother of this girl wouldnt be Mary Hughes. Please help locate her Thankyou!
