red mail Mothersole
I am seeking information on the William & Caroline Mothersole (nee Parish) family. William, a bricklayer, married Caroline in 1853 at Timworth. I am particularly interested in his son Harry Edward ( my G grandfather) 1854-1929. He married Elizabeth Allen and lived in Berkhamsted where they had at least ten children. Harry was a bricklayer and builder which seemed to be a common occupation for their family. I would be interested in any information on the Mothersole family.

Wade Family
James Wade (1779 possible) married Rose ? (1784 G/Yarm) 1804 Gt Yarmouth. He was a guard at a factory. Children: Susanna, Jemima, Hanna Crisp, Eliza Mary, Eliza Reeve, Hannah O. The Wade & Reeve families seem to have a close history, with Eliza having Reeve as a middle name & Jemima later marrying James William Reeve in Kent. The middle name of Crisp appears in both families & Hannah runs in both. Could Rose’s surname have been Crisp? James birth year is abt 1779 & he died 31 Jan 1861 which would make him 82, a similar age to Rose when she died. However, the DC says his age was 46 but his occupation, address & the informant all tie in to the above family. Seeking any information.

Belch, Smith, Bury St Edmunds
James Belch, my g.g.grandfather married Christi(a)na Smith at St James, Bury St Edmunds on 7 Oct 1834. The 1841 census says he was not born in Suffolk. By 1851 he had either died or disappeared. His wife is listed as a widow but I have found no record of death. Christiana was born in Germany and lived in BSE until she died in 1877. They had 4 children who lived to adulthood, Mary, James (my g.grandfather), Arthur and Eliza. Any information forwards or backwards in time about any of them would be much appreciated.
