I am looking for the family of William Browne & Josephine Adelaide Joyce who had children born here including Alfred Thomas James Browne born 1865. The family are living in Rathmines, Dublin on the 1901/11 Census. Does anyone know of any family with this name and where are the Baptism Records held? Any help would be appreciated. Thank You. Veronica

red mail RATHFARNHAM 1859
Looking for any information on the family of William James Costello - living in England at the time of the 1881 census but recorded on the census returns as being born in Rathfarnham, Dublin in 1859. The family story is that he ran away from home - so his age may be inaccurate ie born slightly later than 1859 - In England he spent most of his working life as a groom and in 1881 was working in Aldershot on military barracks for a regiment that had been based in Dublin years earlier. On his marriage certificate he names his father as James Costello (groom) any information would be gratefully recieved
Searching for any information about HODGINS & GABRIEL families, both from Rathfarnham, 1850 and before, and particularly in relation to a property called "Silveracre" which was at one time leased to Patrick GIBNEY, a baker.
