Clarke Family of Bunbury
Would appreciate any information about the Clarke family from Bunbury. In 1838 Thomas Clarke married Sarah Davenport b.1820 (parents James Davenport & Mary Growcot) and they had children Ann, Rachel, Harriet, Solomon & Sampson. In 1861 Ann Clarke b.1838 married Joseph Siddorn b.1841(parents Samuel Siddorn & Ellen Griffiths). They had 9 children Agnes, Mary, Sarah Jane, George, Annie, Ellen, Elizabeth, Harriet and Joe (my grandfather). At some time around 1871 the family appear to have moved to Tarporley.

Siddorn family of Bunbury
Would appreciate any information about the Siddorn family from Bunbury. In 1861 Joseph Siddorn b.1841 (parents Samuel Siddorn & Ellen Griffiths)married Ann Clarke b.1838 (parents Thomas Clarke & Sarah Davenport). They had 9 children Agnes, Mary, Sarah Jane, George, Annie, Ellen, Elizabeth, Harriet and Joe (my grandfather). Around 1871 the family appear to have moved from Bunbury to Tarporley and at some point lived in Birch Heath Road.

Ellen Griffiths of Bunbury
Any further information appreciated on Ellen Griffiths b.1806 Beeston/Bunbury who on 12/5/1831 in Bunbury married Samuel Siddorn b.1796 Eaton/Bunbury. Known children are Joseph b.1841 and Ann b.1847 both in Bunbury. In 1861 & 1871 family were on census living in Bunbury. Joseph Siddorn married Ann Clarke in 1861 and believe Ann Siddorn may have had a son William born about 1868.

Born 1904 married frances "louie" Edwards in 1928 in nantwich, had 2 daughters Joyce and kathleen. Originally from Bunbury cheshire and have a history with innkeeping at the "dysart arms"...may have a brother George who mayve been an electrical worker in 1951..joe did go to war and may have resided in farnworth,berkshire and Salford....any detail is appreciated as we love Joe extremely much :0)

Samuel and Elizabeth Dodd were living in Calveley, Bunbury from 1820.Samuel was a Labourer, and was still alive in 1861 aged 80+ and living with son Joseph and his wife Martha.I would like to contact anyone with similar interest in this family.

Robert TAYLOR married Martha DUTTON in St Boniface Bunbury in 1733 and has a Monumental Inscription there. He died in 1799 aged 87, Martha in 1786 aged 75, both in Haughton. Martha's parents were Edward DUTTON and Margaret STOCKTON, but so far I haven't been able to discover any more about Robert TAYLOR.

Ann Gater was married at St. Boniface, Bunbury in 1786 to Thomas Sherratt (spelling varies)of Acton-by-Nantwich, & later of Nantwich. Thomas was baptised in 1761. Their children, baptised at Nantwich, were: twins, James and John (1793), Margaret (1795), George (1797-1876), Ann (1800-02), Elizabeth (1802-05). Ann (1806), and Thomas (1808). Any Gater information will be welcome.
