Richard Vallancey (c.1789-1867) lived in Dungory, Dungora or Dungoora Cottage in Kinvara in 1852. At one time (c. 1833) he was Commander of the Revenue Police in Gort, county Galway. Richard died in Seaforth, county Galway. His mother, Margaret England, daughter of Patrick Richard England, was born in Lifford, Ennis, co. Clare. All relevant information welcome.

Looking for info on my great grandfather John St. George Joyce, raised in Kinvarra, County Galway, January 3 1846, parents Patrick Joyce (son of James Joyce of Drumharsna Castle in Galway) and Isabella E. St. George (daughter of Arthur French St. George of Tyrone House, Co. Galway). I will be visiting the area this summer June 18 to June 30 and hope to find some descendants!
