My mother Helen Gordon Stewart gave birth to a baby girl in the Rotunda Hospital Dublin on 27th December 1929 who she named Dorothy Patricia Harrison. The little baby girl died in St Patrick's Childrens Hospital Dublin in March 1930. I wondered if it was possible that either of these two hospitals would have records of these events? I have the same birthday (December 27th) as my half sister, and would dearly love to put us together even if it is only on paper. Can anyone give me any guidance to help me? Elizabeth

TRACEY, Mary from Dublin Ireland transported to Pt Arthur Tasmania
Mary TRACEY was described as INFAMOUS - she was originally from Dublin The Prison Authorities in Port Arthur Tasmania described my direct ancestor Mary TRACEY as INFAMOUS - one can only imagine what she did to earn that tag. Mary TRACEY was born in Ireland - and possibly in Dublin Ireland - circa 1790 - that is a very rubbery guess. She had a child with Thomas SCOTT in Launceston Tasmania in 1814. It is rumoured that she had an earlier child - perhaps in Ireland? She was convicted in Dublin Ireland and transported to Australia in 1809. Sadly there is no record that I can find to tell me who her mother and perhaps her father (if she knew the latter) were. I am hoping that a TRACEY descendant with links to Dublin Ireland might recall a family story about a female member of the TRACEY family being transported to Australia around 1809. There were other convicts from Dublin Ireland with the surname TRACEY but so far none seem related. The said above Thomas SCOTT by the way was from Surrey England
