red mail Wallace farmer near Minterburn church
Samuel Wallace is said to have come from Co Down with his 6 children, Mary,Robert,Samuel,MaryJane,Isabella and Eliza, to farm in Mullineal townland and to attend Minterburn Presbterian Church. Mary married an Anderson and emigrated to the US, Mary Jane married Robert Warwick and Eliza married John Liggett. Descendants farmed at Mullyneil and remained strong supporters of Minterburn, which is only a few miles from Caledon. I would like to learn his wife's name and where in Co Down the family came from. Samuel is in Tyrone on Griffith's Survey (1851) but not on The Tithe applotment in the 1830's.
