Anyone else interested in Drumsill House around 1910 - 1940? My grandparents lived at the gatehouse, I believe, and my grandfather, John McKay Weir, was a gardener there.

red mail MCKEOWN, John (c1810-1892) and Robert (c1820-)
Looking for ancestors of brothers John and Robert McKeown who emigrated from Ireland before 1847. They settled in Osgoode Twp in Ontario Canada, near Ottawa. Their parents were probably Robert and Isabella McKeown and were probably from Armagh but not sure. Possibly another brother died on route to North America. Robert married Margaret Brown and was a shoemaker, besides farming. John married Isabella Brown and farmed.

I have quite a bit of information that I am willing to share in the hope of helping each other. I would love to hear from anyone researching this family.
