red mail A research about Lewis Family in Bristol
Hello everyone, I'm new to this page and I was hoping you could help me in my research about my family. You see, I live in Peru and my last name is Lewis (something very unusual here) and after a week searching for information I found the name of my great-great-grandfather, in addition to his date and place of birth. It seems that his full name was Santiago Lewis, born in Bristol, Gloucester in 1848, unfortunately I have not been able to get any information about his parents or if he had brothers / sisters, nor have I been very successful looking at any records since most of the websites that provide that information are beyond my reach. While asking some of my family members, they told me that they also had a connection with a family called Bailey. Little else I know about that, except that he was the first of the Lewis to arrive in Peru and that he was an architect, marrying a woman named Maria Jimenez and having two children in 1890 and 1900 named Santiago Carlos and Arturo respectively. Of course I know it's not a lot of information to start making connections, but if someone believes that can recognize or relate to this information, feel free to contact me, any hint is appreciated. Ronald.

red mail Donovan,Bristol area
Looking for descendants of Alfred George Donovan and Doris Mabel Donovan (nee Barry) married March 1930. They had three children Alfred William, Pamela Irene and Doris Mary. I believe Alfred William married in 1961 to someone with the surname Gardner or Gardiner. If my discovery is correct I think they then had a daughter Karen. If anyone knows or knew of this family and/or Pamela or Doris Donovan please get in touch.

red mail Millane - various spellings!
My great-grandma gave her name as Mary Malan when she married and said on census forms that she was born in Bristol c.1851. Her surname undergoes various transformations since she was unable to write. In the 1901 census her 'brother' John Gleeson (!) is staying with her, also born in Bristol and then aged 39. Any possible links sought.
