Grimsdale/Grimsdell
Looking for any connection to this family originally from High Wycombe. Father William and son James ran a cabinet and chair making business. In Bristol from around 1885 to 1898 when most of the family moved to Shoreditch, east London, but they did leave several family members behind one believed to be William Grimsdale a cabinet maker who possibly may have joined a ship as a carpenter. Any information welcome.

THE BRIGHT /GLOVERFAMILY
My 2xgreatgrandfather James Bright was an OUTDOOR CUSTOMS OFFICER in Bristol from about1840 to about 1885. He was born at Yarmouth on the I.O.W. in about 1804 and married Eliza Glover from Shipham in Somerset. They had at least 5 children. Elizabeth, James, Mary, William and Phoebe, the youngest who was my great grandmother. I believe Elizabeth did not marry but would be interested to hear from anyone who knows anything about James, William or Mary, or who has any knowledge about the parents and background of either of my great great grandparents.
