red mail John White Robison - Bristol
Looking for further information on John 'Robbie' Robison and his wife Lily (Faux). Robbie was Captain of the Gloucestershire Bowls Team in 1945 and became an England International player in 1946 a wonderful honour for himself and the Henleaze Bowling Club for whom he played. He was born in Dumfriesshire, Scotland in 1873., married Florence Walker in 1905 who sadly passed away at the early age of 45 years. He later married Lily Faux in 1933 in Bristol. He was evidently the Head Master of a school for deaf children and his second wife Lily Faux, was also a teacher, who had attended the Bristol Red Maids School at its original location in Denmark Street, central Bristol. Robbie passed away in 1960 and his wife Lily, just two years later in 1962 in a nursing home in Weston-S-Mare. I would be grateful for any further snippet of information.

Muller's Orphanage Bristol
I am hoping someone may have photographs of older children at Muller's Orphanage in Bristol - years spanning 1927 to 1930. My father was orphaned at the age of 11 and spent 3 years there before being apprenticed to a market gardener named Blake. I think this was in Weston-super-Mare. Not much to go on I know but would appreciate any photos from those years of boys 11-14 years old at the orphanage. Or any other information you may think useful.

Daniel Skuse
I am searching for information about Daniel Skuse born in 1874. He married Emily Jones (nee Prosser) in 1899. Emily lived in New Tredegar on Fothergill Road and she had a son William John Jones born in 1891. Her first husband William Jones came from Wrexham. There was another son, Arthur who could be a Jones or a Skuse. I believe he was a publican in Peterchurch, Herefordshire. I would be grateful for any information.
