I am interested in hearing from anyone related to James Fry born c. 1800 baptised at Wiveliscombe who married Mary Ann Slade Colmer (?) born in 1804 at Crewkerne. They were schoolmaster and schjoolmistress at Wiveliscombe. They had a son John Colmer Fry (c. 1825-1899) who married (1) Harriet White at Wimiton (she was born at Stogumber) and (2) Elizabeth Prior born at Bridgwater, at Bridgwater in 1866 - John C Fry and Elizabeth née Prior were my maternal great-grandparents. Benjamin Baker Cockings (1792-1857, son of Susanna Dupup Hurt and Benjamin Baker Cockings) married Maria Cape Mitchell (1794-1872, daughter of John and Margaret Mitchell) two years' after birth of son, Alfred Benjamin Mitchell in 1816. Cockings family were jewellers, engravers, etc. Would love contact with anyone with this knowledge.
