Gertrude Samuels, originally from Bristol, lived in the Bournemouth area in 1948 where her son, Anton was born in January 1948 at 23 Knole Road and put up for adoption. She emigrated to Australia with her mother, Mabel Samuels, nee Deane in 1953. Trying to find out if she returned to England or stayed in Australia. If any of her relatives are living I should be grateful for any information as we are hoping we can complete our family tree. Any information would be gratefully received.

Fining / Finan Bournemouth
Looking for descendants of John & Emma Fining, who lived in Aldershot barracks between 1890 - 1903. They had 5 children: Emma Jane 1897, John George 1898, Ethel 1900, Esther 1901, and Henry 1903. I have found that after John senior's death in 1903 Emma married again to Cyril Dominy in 1919 and that her children Esther and Henry both married in Bournemouth area in 1927. Their brother John George (b.1898) was in the 7th brigade Royal Horse Artillery and I believe he too married in Bournemouth area in 1925. John Fining senior was my great-grandfather's cousin; would love to find any descendants of this family and share information.
