red mail William Murray, Margaret Gardner, Bo'ness Distillery
My great grandfather William Murray (b 1879) ran the Bo'ness Distillery for a number of years. He was married to Margaret Gardner (b.1877). He may also have been a cousin of another ancestor, Elizabeth Gordon (b1888). Please contact me if you have any information! Thanks.
red mail Walter Brown and Margaret Dunlop
I'd love information about Walter Brown (1811-1885) and his wife Margaret Dunlop (b 1813 Prestonfield, d 1873). I believe their children Robert, Archibald, John, Agnes and Janet (who married Peter Wardlaw in Bathgate in 1864), were born in Bo'ness in the 1830/40's. Their final child Walter (my great grandfather) was born in Lymrig, Slamanan in 1857.

red mail Maxwell McIntosh
This lady, Maxwell McIntosh, left her home town of Falkirk to serve time in Stirling Old Town Jail in 1857. In April the following year, she gave birth to a son whist still in jail. On her release, she lived in Bo'ness, died in Linlithgow in 1893 and is buried in Bo'ness cemetery. I would be grateful for any further information. Thanks, Donna
