George died in Walsall Workhouse 7 May 1874 and Fanny remarried Joseph Fellows by whom she had a daughter Mary Ann Florence in 1876. Any information welcome
red mail Churchill
Edward Churchill was my great grandfather. He lived in Bishops Castle in the early part or the century. He had one daughter Catherine, also known as Rene. My father has a photograph of him with Emporer Haili Selassi. I always found it strange when I was younger that so many famous people.visited this little village! Amy Johnson The famous American flyer was also a visitor I believe. Catherine was born in a house with black and white timbers on the high street. I think it's still there as we visited a few years ago. She always maintained it was haunted. It would be interesting to hear if it was! Catherine married Alfred Scrivens whose family also lived in Bishops Castle.
