Elizabeth DAVIES, born 1851
Looking for more descendants of the above, the only known child to Jephtha DAVIES (b1814 at Tre'r-ddol in Cardiganshire), a collier, and his second wife Sarah LAWRENCE, nee HOWES (born c1813 at Llandilo, Pembrokeshire) who married in 1849 at Abergavenny. I now know that Elizabeth married John GUPPY at Rhymney in 1885 and had two sons, John H GUPPY and Ivor GUPPY, but was a widow by the time of the 1911 census.

Phillips and Farr
I am looking for any information on John Phillipa who lived at 117 Briery Hill in the 1861 census - wife Amelia and children Alfred, William, John and Amelia. Amelia (daughter) married William Henry Farr and they had 5 daughters. They later lived in Pontypool with their daughters, Amelia Myra, Beatrice Maud, Lilly Ada, Gertrude, and Constance Evelyn "Effie". William Henry Farr 11 Feb 1858 - before 24 Mar 1905) was the son of Edward and Elizabeth (Evans) Farr. He was the only one of the family to remain in Wales (the rest came to the US - Pennsylvania) and he was a butcher.

red mail Elizabeth DAVIES
Looking for information on Elizabeth DAVIES, born c1851 at Tredegar. She was the daughter of Jeptha/Jephtha DAVIES, a coalminer, and his second wife Sarah. Sarah died before the 1881 census and in that census Elizabeth is shown as unmarried and living with her father as a housekeeper in Morgan Street, Bedwellty. Jephtha died in 1883 and I would like to know what happened to Elizabeth after that. She was still young enough to have married and had children of her own. Can anyone shed any light on her life after 1883? The surname was occasionally shown as DAVIS.
