Walker - Cook marriage 1835
My ancestors William Walker and Ellen Cook were married in Beckingham in 1835. He seems to have been local while she was from nearby, but in Lincolnshire. Does anyone have any information about families called Walker in the early C19?

red mail NEEDHAM, Herbert and Edith
I wonder if anyone has information on Herbert k/a Birdie NEEDHAM and his wife Edith. They had a farm in Beckingham in the 1940s. I was evacuated there and am trying to lay the ghost of that time. My gt uncle Albert GROOM ran the village grocery store. Jack TATE is another name associated with this time and place. I should be pleased to hear from anyone with any information.
