Arthur Ernest born 1880 Married Chesterfield 1903.Bernard W. born 1885 Served as gunner in WWI with RGA Believed to live Burton on Trent in 1930s Thomas Walter born 1900 Killed 1940 HMS Keith. I have no other info on lives of any of these three though I have full ancestry of each. Any help most welcome.

William Naylor b. 1868 in Bakewell married Jane KItson of Ashford in the Water. William#s parents were Anthony and Fanny (nee Bramwell) and Jane's parents were Cahrles and Ann (nee Hawley) William died in about 1898 and Jane remarried in 1900, William Skidmore.

My grandmothers maiden name was Minnie Punchaby - although she lived all of her life in Bolton I believe the Punchaby name hails from Bakewell. I have gone back to 1725 to a Robert Punchaby who married Jane Brunt, but I do not have any info on where he was born or the names of his parents/brothers & sisters if any.

My Grandmother who was Sarah Louisa Needham nee Last, born 1869, died in Bakewell on 23rd May 1935. She worked for a person who lived at Starkeholmes in Matlock. I am trying to find out where she is buried. Does anyone know where the records of Bakewell cemetery are kept or know anything about Sarah. Thanks

My gran CLARA PONSONBY & great, grandfather HARRY PONSONBY were born in Pontefract, YKS. His father HARRY PONSONBY was the only child (born in Wales 1858) of ROBERT PONSONBY & MARY HALL. They married in Manchester but both born in Bakewell, Derby. He died in Sheffield & she in Pontefract. This couple sure got around as on the 1871 they were in Settle. Robert & son were Blacksmiths.
