red mail William Taylor Ledbury
I am currently tracing my roots through Herefordshire and have hit a brick wall tracing the maiden name of my 3rd Great Grandmother. My 3rd Great Grandfather's name was William Taylor 1791 to 1863 He married Elizabeth Frances ***** on 28th February 1829 at Ledbury. Elizabeth Frances ***** was born in 1791 and unfortunately died at Ledbury in 1839, just 10 years after being married William. I believe that they had 5 children - Mary 1819, Elizabeth 1826, James 1827, Susan 1829, George 1832 (My 2nd Great Grandfather) and Sarah 1835.

red mail John Bailey born Mordiford 1813 Mordiford
Hello all, I would like to know if anyone can help me find information on John Bailey born 21 November 1813 in Mordiford or Dormington. Also where can I find information regarding the occupants of Mordiford, would they have been farmers. On his death certificate his fathers name is listed as Francis. He was transported to Australia in 1835 on the 'Waterloo' at age 20, for stealing a cart mare. He is listed as a ploughman. Information in his reports state that he was also in the Hereford Militia. Would there be any books written on Mordiford that gave the main occupation or trade of the inhabitants of Mordiford or Dormington. He is my great great grandfather. Thank you in anticipation for any replies Christina Australia
red mail Bill Family of Ledbury Ledbury
Would appreciate information on the several Benjamin Bills of Ledbury. A Benjamin Bill married an Elizabeth ????????? around 1800 to 1812 (or later) when a child was born to them called Jane Bill (1812) followed by several other children. Benjamin was apparently lived 1789-1866 and Elizabeth lived 1791-1826. But I cannot find their marriage record. Does anyone have some information on that wedding, assuming it did occur.
