Ashperton parish church - gravestones
Is there anyone in or around Ashperton who could take a photo of a gravestone and its inscription in the churchyard and send it on to me? The grave in question is of Frederick Henry Pratt who died in 1957 and his wife Kezia or Keziah who died in 1961. Thanks

red mail davies/ fire equipment
Trying to find info on where the fire equipment was stored at Ashperton in the second world war as my father was a fire service at time for Ashpertn and his Dad Thomas for Tarrington but he told me it was kept on one of the farms but not sure where , he also did fire service to Ledbury, his Dad said there was a American service accomodation in one of the big houses but do not know which, does anyone have idea? i also wonder if any one has the home guard pictures of the time for Withington area or fire service?also the school in tarrington if any old pics exist of pupils from 1940's 1930's time when my Dad would have been a pupil there with friends from Ashperton . i would love to know what the 1911 census would have for the double dwelling property which can be seen at Tarrington where my dad was born in 1928, it now a single dwelling with caravan park and orchard used to have stream to one side but do not kow who lived in it at the time, i understand it was just said to be at little tarrington no name as far as i know, my dad remembers the cottage roof being changed from thatch to tiles and having to go to stay attenbury wells whilst it being done, maybe others will remember that place, as not sure when his parents came to live there, his gran was a Arabella Davies kept geese her folks were Adlam. hoping some of this might ring a bell.
