red mail Presdee Family Brynmawr
Trying to find any details for Jane Presdee nee Price, born c 1829. I can track her up to the birth of her third child Abiarthar (male) in 1853. Her husband Josiah dies in 1853 and Abiathar dies in 1854. Jane's sister Sarah Fox registers Abiarthar's death. I cannot find any record for Jane after Abiarthar's birth.
red mail JONES - JOHN TALIESIN Abergavenny, Y Fenni
Hi, Looking for my great grandfather, John Taliesin Jones, born in Peterstone, Wentloog Wales in about 1820. Married my great grandmother Mary Plummer on 8 August 1859 at Horeb Chapel, Blaenoavon, Monmouthshire. Now on the marriage certificate it states that John was a widower also, so interested in finding the first wife and details and if any family. John's parents are noted as different on his marriage certificate to his death certificate, but have finally settled on his parents being William and Elizabeth (nee Thomas) who I believe were farmers (may have been wealthy) as my Aunt used to say that their two eldest sons used to receive letters titled Esquire. I don't have a lot of information on either John or Mary. Mary I believe to have parents Thomas and Elizabeth, and she was born in Abergavenny around 1829 and was actually pregnant when she married John with their first son Taliesin Plummer Jones born 29 December 1859 at Llangattock, Crickhowell, Breconshire, and second son (my great grandfather) Anirin Gwawdryyd Jones born 23 February 1861 at Rhasse, Llanguinder, Brecon Wales just before they migrated to Australia, 3 December 1861 on the ship Persia. I live in Australia, and trying to find out how I can gain birth records for John Jones, his first marriage details, and Mary Plummers birth records. Thanks in advance.
red mail Mary Ann Dutton Abergavenny, Y Fenni
On the 1881 census, 4 year old Mary Ann Dutton - born in Abergavenny - is noted as the granddaughter of David Tanner and Fanny Tanner (nee Sargeant). Daughter 20 year old Jane is also listed. The Tanner's children (all born in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire) are: Mary Maria born 1844 bapt 13/10/1844 Euphemia born 1846 bapt 22/2/1846 married 26/09/1863 died 16/07/1908 - married William Thomas Limbrick Susanna born 1848 bapt 06/08/1848, death 1851 aged 3 Clara Fanny born 1853 bapt 26/08/1855 Eliza Susan born 1854 , death 1855 in infancy Ann Smith born 1855 bapt 26/08/1855 David Samuel born 1856 bapt 06/09/1857, death 1858 aged 10 Emma Matilda born 1859 Jane Ellen born 1861, married Henry Hawkins 1882 in Abergavenny, buried 30/01/1922 Nantyglo Ann Rosabell born 1863. I'm trying to find any records which may show which daughter gave birth to Mary Ann Dutton, can't find any record of a marriage of a Tanner to a Dutton nor a birth record for Mary Ann. Mary Ann's marriage record has the father being John Dutton, no luck there either.

red mail Axall, Axale or Oscall Abergavenny, Y Fenni
I am looking for any information at all about the Axall, Axale or Oscall family from Abergavenny and Llanwenarth Ultra in Wales. Ada Annie Axall (also called Ada Ann Axall/Axale/Oxcall) was listed as born in 1860 in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, Wales, and was the tenth (judging from census data on who was in the house) child of Selena Axall and William Axall. As a one year old, Ada was still in Abergavenny. By 1871, when she was 11 years old, she was listed as living at Llanwenath Ultar, Llandaff, Govillon, Monmouthshire, Wales. I would greatly appreciate any information at all about the family. Thanks!
