red mail James & Susanna Short of Castleroan Castleroar
I am researching the history of Shortts from Tipperary, Offaly and Laois in Ireland and, in particular, the descendants of James and Susanna Short who lived in Castleroan aka Cashilrone in the early 1700s and later in Kilmastulla. I would be interested to hear from anybody with similar research interest. P.S. 'Castleroar' should read as 'Castleroan' as the linked Google map shows correctly.
red mail Benjamin ENGLAND Family, Co.Tipperary Bourney, and Parish
Benjamin ENGLAND married Catherine BANNON in Bonagortbaun, Bourney Parish in 1841. The couple had 3 children - Margaret, Ellen, and Catherine, all born in Bourney Parish between 1842 and 1846. By 1861 Catherine and the 3 girls were living in Kent, England. I am trying to find out if Benjamin died in Ireland or if he and Catherine divorced. Any information on this family while they lived in Ireland would be greatly appreciated. Veronica
