I am trying to find any information on an incident that took place on 13th September 1931 on the London Midland and Scottish Railway Line near Rhyd y Blew bridge, Beaufort, Ebbw Vale. My Great Great Grandmother was found decapitated on the line and I am trying to find any newspaper articles or information linked to the incident. Thanks
red mail Enoch Jones
Enoch was born in Beaufort about 1855. He was the son of Phillip Jones. In 1879 He married Ellen Davies in Merthyr Tydfil. Is there anyone out there for whom any of this rings a bell?
red mail Charles Davies
My great-great grandfather Charles DAVIES was born in Beaufort in about 1849. I have his marriage certificate which shows no father. I haven't yet found his exact birth details but in the census for 1861 there is a grandson Charles DAVIES living with his grandmother and father or uncle. He is at 11 a coal miner which he was but I wondered if anyone else was looking into this family tree . I am keen to trace his mother and father.
red mail Beaufort And Rassau
My intersts lie with Lewis, Williams, Davies and Edmunds in Rassau and Beaufort. The Williams family were at the Miners Arms, Rassau. Lewis family was at Waungoch District.
